How to handle multiple locations for AI search

Give each location its own page with its own address, phone, hours, staff, and services, its own Google Business Profile, and its own structured data. Assistants recommend a place, not a brand, and a business with three clinics and one contact page cannot be recommended for any of them. The pages share a design, not a text.

The structure

  • One location page per place: yourdomain.com/locations/twin-falls/.
  • Each page states the full address, phone, hours, the people there, and the services offered at that location.
  • Each page has LocalBusiness structured data with that location’s facts.
  • Each location has its own Google Business Profile, linked to its own page, not the homepage.
  • A locations index that lists them all with addresses.

What goes wrong

One phone number for all locations, so the assistant cannot tell which to give. Location pages that are the same paragraph with the town swapped, which Google treats as duplicates. Profiles that all link to the homepage. Services listed on the brand page that a particular location does not offer.

Reviews by location

Ask customers to review the location they visited. An assistant recommending a clinic in Edina reads Edina’s reviews. Reviews pooled under one brand listing help the brand and no location.

Questions people ask

We have two locations ten minutes apart. Still separate pages?

Yes. Different addresses, different profiles, different pages. The assistant answers "near me."

What about service areas with no office?

A service area page for the towns you drive to, on the main site. Not a fake location.

Can the location pages share most of their text?

They should share the design and the service list. The description, the staff, the directions, and the reviews should be specific.
